Scholarships and Grants

EVERY YEAR THE SSA AWARDS THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN SCHOLARSHIPS TO ELIGIBLE STUDENTS IN THE FACULTY OF SCIENCE. THERE ARE 13 AWARDS RANGING IN VALUE FROM $500 TO $1500, WHICH ARE BASED ON ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT, COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT, AND FINANCIAL NEED.

To see which scholarships are available, and to apply, you must log in to the Online Scholarships and Bursaries tool through UOZone. Recipients are selected by uOttawa staff members chosen by the Financial Aid and Awards Office who may also request additional support from members of our sponsorship committee.

Applications will close on October 31st, 2024, at 11:59pm. These applications will be reviewed, and successful applicants can expect to hear back sometime during the Winter 2025 semester.
