Bonjour à tous ! Je suis Joela, étudiante en 2e année de Biomed, et je suis ravie de présenter ma candidature au poste de vice-présidente des affaires académiques du SSA pour l'année scolaire 2023-2024.

Membre du SSA depuis 2 ans, je connais les tenants et les aboutissants de l'organisation d'événements ainsi que les interactions entre la faculté et le corps étudiant. Ces connaissances, combinées à mes compétences interpersonnelles notables, font de moi une excellente candidate pour ce poste. En tant que vice-président des affaires académiques, mes responsabilités incluront l'organisation d'événements tels que Wine and Cheese, l'administration des bourses attribuées par le SSA ainsi que la direction des comités associés du SSA. Plus important encore, j'agirai en tant que représentante du corps étudiant auprès des corps universitaires nécessaires en ce qui concerne les questions académiques qui se posent.

Hi everyone! I’m Joela, a 2nd year Biomed student, and I’m stoked to present my candidacy for the position of Vice-President of Academic Affairs on the SSA for the 2023-2024 school year.

Having been a member of the SSA for the past 2 years, I know the ins and outs of event management as well as the interactions between the faculty and the student body. This knowledge, combined with my notable interpersonal skills, make me an excellent candidate for this position. As Vice-President of Academic Affairs, my responsibilities would include the organisation of events such as Wine and Cheese, the administration of SSA issued scholarships, and the direction of associated SSA committees. More importantly, I will act as a representative of the student body to the appropriate university bodies in affairs regarding any academic issues that are presented.
