Bonjour les étudiant.e.s en sciences ! Je m'appelle Elsa Stiefeling et je suis en troisième année de sciences biopharmaceutiques dans la filière génomique, ainsi que dans un micro-programme en entrepreneuriat scientifique. Je suis candidate au poste de vice-présidente des initiatives philanthropiques et j'ai hâte de vous rencontrer tou.te.s !

Mon objectif, si élue, serait de faire connaître les organisations qui se consacrent aux efforts de conservation de l'environnement et qui soutiennent les personnes dans le besoin. En éduquant les individu.e.s et en luttant contre les préjugés sociaux, je m'efforce de promouvoir la croissance sociale sur notre campus.

J'aime consacrer mon temps à aider les autres, et je fais du bénévolat dans un refuge animalier local lorsque je suis de retour chez moi. Je suis une grande adepte des activités de plein air, comme le ski, et j'éprouve beaucoup de joie à exprimer ma créativité par la peinture. En tant que VP des initiatives philanthropiques, je serais chargée d'organiser des événements pour des associations caritatives. Pour ce faire, je m'appuierais sur mes solides compétences organisationnelles et interpersonnelles.

Si vous êtes étudiant.e en sciences à l'Université d'Ottawa, vous pouvez voter du mercredi 13 mars à 18h jusqu'au dimanche 17 mars à 18h. Je vous encourage tou.te.s à voter afin que vous ayez votre mot à dire sur votre éducation.

Hello science students! My name is Elsa Stiefeling and I am a third year studying Biopharmaceutical Science in the genomics stream as well as doing a micro program in science entrepreneurship. I am running for Vp of Philanthropic Initiatives and am excited to meet you all!

My goal if I am elected is to bring awareness to organizations dedicated to environmental conservation efforts and supporting those in need. By educating individuals and addressing social biases, I strive to promote social growth on our campus.

I enjoy giving my time to help others, and I volunteer at a local animal shelter when I'm back home. I'm a big fan of outdoor activities like skiing, and I get a lot of joy from expressing my creativity through painting. As the VP of philanthropic initiatives, my responsibilities will be organizing events for charities. I'll be relying on my strong organizational and interpersonal skills for this role. 

If you are a science student at the university of Ottawa you can vote from Wednesday March 13th at 6pm until Sunday March 17th at 6pm. I encourage all of you to vote so that you have a say in your education.
